Is your skin the most important organ?

Clothes are what we wear every day. We use clothes to cover our bodies, as our fashion statement, and to look good. Ever thought that these very clothes that you use in your daily life could be harmful to you?

Your skin is the largest organ and some of your clothing can be harmful for your skin and body. These chemicals may directly enter cells causing disruption. If they make it to our blood, the toxics eventually pass through the liver where some detox happens. Other chemicals and their breakdown products become stored in fatty tissue, bone or liver. Babies and children are even more vulnerable than adults.

Did you know that your newborn baby's skin is paper thin, it helps them not only to show you what their mood and temperature are like but also helps them to regulate their temperature. That's why it's so important to make a good choice, especially until it starts to thicken at around 1 year of age.

Organic clothing has no side effects on one’s health; it’s completely natural. Organic clothing uses organically natural fibres which are grown without using any kind of chemical fertilisers, insecticides or pesticides, therefore they help improve land quality and prevent water contamination from happening Everyone should do their part in building a natural and pure environment.

Why organic clothing matters is because there is a huge difference in the way your body functions. Organic clothing makes a person feel at ease. Organic clothing doesn’t have any bad effects on a person’s health.  It is softer than conventional cotton / linen clothing and it also smells nice.

Organic clothing might be costly for a few, but for others the health of their family might be above the cost factors involved. Many people don’t know about the health risks involved with choosing inorganic clothes. We just would like you to ponder over what’s right for you, your family and their future. The final decision is yours.
